Zimbabwe are gearing up for better things on the cricket front and will be hoping to make the most of defeating minnows Afghanistan before the much awaited Tri Nations series that include South Africa and Australia.
Captain Brendon Taylor believes the series against Afghanistan demands the full attention of his side, even if there is a temptation to look beyond it to upcoming tours by South Africa and Australia.
The tour, Afghanistan’s first of an ICC Full Member, will be used as preparation for the World Cup, while Zimbabwe is preparing to host their more seasoned opponents.
