​New England Revolution striker, Kei Kamara has received a late call-up to the Sierra Leone national team, Leone Stars for Saturday’s decisive Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Ivory Coast.
 
The former Columbus Crew forward was left out of the squad in the first call up following his previous decision to resign from international football on the issue that the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) "lacks respect for players".

​NEW YORK (August 31, 2016) – The Independent Review Panel has rescinded the fine and one-game suspension for the red card issued to Sporting Kansas City midfielder Roger Espinoza for violent conduct in the 87th minute of their match against the Philadelphia Union on August 27 (VIDEO).


Sporting Kansas City’s appeal was unanimously upheld by the Panel, which consists of one representative from the U.S. Soccer Federation, one representative from the Canadian Soccer Association and one representative from the Professional Referees Organization (PRO).

With United in search of an important victory to keep its place above the red line, Mullins delivered in a big way on Saturday, scoring his first career hat trick in a 6-2 victory over the Chicago Fire at RFK Stadium. Since arriving at D.C. via trade from New York City FC in July, Mullins has scored five goals in five starts, coinciding with United's best play of the season.
