Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis wants the club’s ground renamed to San Paolo-Diego Armando Maradona stadium in honour of the club’s legend who died from cardiac arrest on Wednesday, November 25.
The clubs players all appeared for their Europa League game against Rijeka, on Thursday, wearing the number 10 shirt with Maradona's name on it but took it for before kickoff. Currently named San Paolo stadium, Maradona played on that Naples from 1984 to 1991, winning the club’s only two league titles in 1987 and 1990; he also won the UEFA Cup and Coppa Italia with the side in his seven years spell, scoring 81 goals in 188 appearances.
The Nigeria Football Federation has received the keys to a substantially upgraded FIFA Technical Centre, Bauchi following completion of the work done on the facility by Aron Nigeria Limited.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) today confirmed the ICC World Test Championship points system will be amended due to the COVID-19 pandemic.The Board approved a recommendation from the ICC Cricket Committee, headed by Anil Kumble, to change the competition terms for the event to determine how series affected by the global pandemic are accounted for on the points table.
The unprecedented disruption caused by COVID-19 means, to date, just under half of the World Test Championship matches have been played, with that estimated to rise to more than 85% by the end of the competition window. Current regulations dictate that matches not completed shall be treated as a draw with points split. The Cricket Committee considered maintaining that status quo or determining the final World Test Championship League standings from matches played. The Cricket Committee recommended the latter option, which was approved by the Chief Executives Committee and ratified by the Board, meaning teams will be ranked in order of percentage of points earned.

The Confederation of African Football has announced Constant Omari as interim CAF President with an extended stay in office.
The announcement follows the suspension of the president, Ahmad Ahmad, for five years by FIFA, on grounds of breach of its code of ethics, on Monday. The African football issued a statement acknowledging Mr Ahmad's situation while declaring an extension to Omari's acting capacity.

Ahmad Ahmad, the president of CAF, has been banned for five years by the FIFA Independent Ethics Committee following series of investigations of ethical misconduct from 2017. The most recently being complicit involvement with CAF VP, Constant Omari, in a revised broadcast deal with French marketing company, Lagardere.
Ahmad, 60, was found guilty of various unethical practises which breach FIFA's code of ethics. These included: breach of duty of loyalty, offering and accepting gifts, abuse of position and misappropriation of funds.
