Lusaka, Zambia: Zambia Judo star,Michael Mwabi, may miss next month Congo- Brazaville All Africa Games and Astana, Kazakhastan World Cup Championship after his Police training career coincided with the games sechedule.
Zambia Judo Association, general secretary, Mabvuto Nguni confirmed the development in news report published Tuesday but said his federation has written Police authorities to grant Mwabi an exemption.
He expressed the hope that the Police might consider their request as all travel bookings were done before the Police training issue came to light.

"We have written to the Police command seeking clearance to the World Championship All-Africa Games.His air tickets were done before recruitment process, so we are hoping that he is allowed to travel ," Nguni explained.
World Cup Championship will be held from August 24 to 30 while World Championship will take place from September 4- 19.
