Journalists wishing to attend the FIVB Volleyball World Cup in Japan should send an Application form for Journalists to their national federation before May 19
Lausanne, Switzerland, May 7, 2015 - The International Volleyball Federation would like to inform journalists wishing to attend the FIVB Volleyball World Cup in Japan of the following visa application process.
In order to obtain a visa, journalists should complete the Application form for Journalists which can be downloaded from the link below and send the completed form to their national federation before May 19.
Each national federation will forward a list of verified journalists to the FIVB ([email protected]) by May 26, including completed versions of the two forms below.

Each national federation will forward a list of verified journalists to the FIVB ([email protected]) by May 26, including completed versions of the two forms below.
The International Volleyball Federation will then confirm the final list of visa applicants and inform the World Cup National Organising Committee. Once the National Organising Committee has received the final list of applicants, it will issue "Letters of Guarantee" and "Invitation Letters" to the relevant national federations, so that they can distribute these to each journalist attending the event.
Successful applicants can expect to receive their letters at the beginning of July.
Journalists should then take these letters to the Japanese embassy in their country to apply for a visa.

Journalists booking accommodation for the FIVB Volleyball World Cup should contact the JTB travel agency, who will assist them in making reservations.

Please also note that the visa application and accreditation processes are separate. Journalists wishing to obtain an accreditation for the FIVB Volleyball World Cup should apply to the FIVB once the accreditation process for the competition is opened on www.fivb.org.
