Harare, Zimbabwe, April 29, 2015 – Thirty-eight coaches passed the FIVB Level I Coaches Course under the Volleyball Cooperation Programme held from April 20 to 27 in the capital city of Harare under the direction of FIVB Instructor Bernard Jose Denis.
A total of 48 participants – 38 men and 10 women – took part in the course.
Zimbabwe Volleyball Association Second Vice President, Enias Kondo, was highly appreciative of the huge turn out of participants. Kondo likewise commended the FIVB and Denis for giving the green light to accept the oversubscribed number of participants in the course.
Officially closing the ceremony was First Vice President of the national federation, Mr Chris Chivinge, who congratulated all participants for their efforts in the course. He further urged them to promote integrity and be part of the success story of volleyball in and out of Zimbabwe.
The instructor expressed his satisfaction on the challenged he faced when he took a bigger class but it never seemed so because of the participants’ cooperation, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn.
“You all need to work hard to be successful, to be part of the African Dream Project, and to make this into reality,” said Denis.
