
The embattled Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) President, Madam Isha Johansen has been named amongst 14 others in the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Organizing committee for management of CAF’s club licensing system.
Johansen, Tombi A. Roko of Cameroon, Pierre Gondo of Cote d’Ivoire, Ghana’s Mathew Narh Doe and Nigeria’s Al Hadj Sani Lulu were the five West Africans named to serve as members of the committee which will is headed Constant Omari Selemani of D. R. Congo and Suketu Patel of Seychelles as the Vice-president.
Other members include Angola Francisco Carvalho Neto, Mulindahabi Jean of Rwanda, Samugabo Mustapha of Burundi, Gbenga Elegbeleye of Nigeria Ahmad Mohamed Megahed Osman of Egypt and Ghana’s Justice Anin Yeboah.
According to a release from the CAF, the 24 standing committee’s mandates will run for 2015-2017.
