Sierra Leonean born winger, Abdulai Bell-Baggie has joined Bristol Rovers on a short-term contract until the end of the season.
The 22-year-old who was released by Tranmere in February, where he scored five goals in 65 appearances during a three-year spell has in the last one-week been on trial with the Conference promotion-chasers and has been reported to be impressive enough to earn a deal.
“It's very difficult, with only six games of the season remaining, to bring in a player who has the ability to step straight into the side if selected," Clarke told the club’s website. "We will be without five players and it's imperative that we have cover in the event of any more players going missing through injury in the remaining weeks of the season and Abdulai fits that bill."
Bell-Baggie started his career at Reading and has also had spells with Rotherham, Crawley, Port Vale, Yeovil and Hayes & Yeading.
