Sierra Leone striker, Alhassan ‘Crespo’ Kamara will miss the start of the Swedish premier league season, the Allsvenskan having ruled him out for five to eight weeks due to a new foot injury he suffered.
The Orebro forward who will be on the side-line is set to miss at least three of the club’s opening fixtures against Norrköping, IFK Göteborg and Falkenberg
According to Swedish NA Sports, the striker confirmed his injury.
The former FC Kallon forward was last year forced out of action missing the first half the season due to due to a knee injury, he however came back and finished the season as the club’s top scorer with 14 goals in 14 matches.
The striker is hoping for a speedy recovery saying: “Of course you do not want to be hurt, and it's really sad. For now I will not do anything on the football field but I can run in water, ride bike, and spend time in the gym. The injury must heal before I can start running again on the pitch. Presently the only thing I am focusing on is to get better than ever once I get back.”
