Sierra Leonean striker pair, Alhassan ‘Crespo’ and Alhaji ‘Andriano’ Kamara both scored a brace for their respective clubs Örebro and Norrköping over the weekend in the Swedish Cup, The Svenska Cupen opening matches.
‘Crespo’ Kamara’s Örebro Club were forced to a 3-3 draw by Varberg and the former FC Kallon striker scored Örebro’s first and second goal of the day in the draw.
His first came in the 16th minutes before the visitors drew level in the 37th minute through Nyström, but the Sierra Leonean forward restored the home sides lead in the 61st minute of play, but Nigerian striker Peters levelled the score for the visitors.
Nordmark however restored Orebro’s lead in the 63rd minute but four minutes later the visitors forced a 3-3 match draw courtesy of Swedish striker A. Kujović’s strike.
The Kamara’s were not the only strikers on target in Sweden, as Mohamed ‘Poborsky’ Bangura who came off the bench in the 63rd minute scored AIK’s final goal in their 4-0 thumping of Landskrona.
In the Azerbaijan topflight league, Gibrilla Julius Woobay played full time for his side Neftçi as they suffered a 0-1 home defeat to Qarabağ whilst countryman Alfred returned to Khazar Lankaran squad which suffered a 3 – 1 away defeat to Qabala.
In England’s League One, Right-Back Mustapha Dumbuya’s Notts County side lost 2-1 to Fleetwood Town with the Sierra Leone international seeing 67 minute of action before he was replaced by White and in the League 2 weekend games, Sullay Kaikai was introduced in the 62nd Minute in Cambridge United’s 2-6 defeat to Portsmouth.
In the Portuguese second tier league, Segunda, defender Ibrahim Obreh Kargbo played full time for Atlético CP as they secured a 0 – 1 away win over Academico Viseu.
However, Greuther Fürth winger George Kweku Davies, Livorno midfielder Rodney Strasser and Balıkesirspor midfielder Khelifa Jabbie were all left out from their squad’s weekend fixtures.
