Kamara who joined Umeå on-loan from FC Kallon was very instrumental for Coach Johan Sandahl’s side especially when Ahmed Awad gave the visitors an early lead. Kamara who played full time grabbed the point for his new side from a corner kick by Jens Stig Dahl as Kamara nodded the ball in.
Kamara’s countryman, Mohamed Kamanor who also joined the team on loan from FC Kallon came in at the 62nd minute replacing Mattias Lidberg. Meanwhile, the coach told the club’s official website that they are not satisfied with their performance but will work herder to improve on their opening day performance.
“We cannot be satisfied with our own performance. We met an unblemished and very talented Dalkurd but will work hard this week to perform better than are now.
Another Sierra Leonean who was on the score sheet in the same league was midfielder, Ibrahim Kallay. Kallay scored one of the four goals for his side IFK Lulea as they defeated IF Sylvia 4-0 at home.
The midfielder’s assist just 11 minutes into the match gave his side the lead as he found Tomas Eriksson with a broadside pass at which the latter placed the ball home for 1-0 lead. Kallay’s sealed the win for the home side 20 minutes into the final whistle.
