O5 December 2014 – The 6th edition of the Sasol League national championships will kick-off on Monday, 08 December in Port Elizabeth.
The week-long tournament will be held at the Isaac Wolfson stadium in Kwazakhele, with the finals to be broadcasted live on SABC 1 on Sunday, 14 December at 12h00.
The competition comprises of nine provincial winners from the Sasol sponsored women’s league, competing in the bid to be crowned the Sasol League Champions.
The 2014 edition see the return of three times champions, Palace Super Falcons from Gauteng. They beat defending champions, Mamelodi Sundowns 2 – 0 in the playoffs match.

Falcons will battle it out with Coal City Wizards and Durban ladies in group B, in an effort to reclaim the trophy, while hosts Coastal United Ladies have to go past Cape Town Roses and Royal Wizards to make it to the quarter finals.
Limpopo is yet to confirm the provincial winner, Kanatla Ladies are due to play Ma-Indies today, 05 December, to confirm which team will travel to Port Elizabeth. The winner of the match will face Bloemfontein Celtic Ladies and Titans FC in group C.
The first match of the day will be between Limpopo based Kanatla Ladies/Ma-indies and Bloemfontein Celtic Ladies. The hosts, Coastal United Ladies will face neighbours, Cape Town Roses in the last match of the day at 15h30.
Gates open at 09h00 daily with the first match of the day scheduled for 10h00.
