It has been a troubling season for the Polish Franchise who have shown glimpses of magic, but have lost six of their seven fixtures.
Puerto Rico on the other hand have been a revelation during their debut campaign, winning half their matches including a win over neighbours USA Knockouts last week.
These two teams met during the first week of Season V, where the Hurricanes enjoyed a close 3-2 victory over Poland.
Flyweight (52 kg) Hamza Touba has lost both of his fixtures for Poland so far this season, and aims for his first victory for the Hussars against the 3-0 Puerto Rican Jeyvier Cintrón Ocasio who is ranked second at Flyweight.
1-2 Polish Lightweight (60 kg) Dawid Michelus won his opening home match against Kazakhstan’s Zakir Safiullin, but has since suffered two away defeats.
This week Michelus fights Puerto Rico’s Jose Rosario, who is on the cusp of a top five ranking.
Ireland’s Steven Donnelly has been one of the bright sparks for the Polish team this season, and the 2-1 third ranked Welterweight (69 kg) competes against 1-2 Hurricane Nicklaus Flaz who has lost both of his away matches in Season V.
Mateusz Jerzy Tryc has been unlucky to lose his opening two fixtures, and may fancy his chances to break that duck when facing 0-3 Light heavyweight (81 kg) Joseph Laboy.
The evening finishes with a Super heavyweight (91+ kg) shootout, where Mantas Valavicius seeks to become the first Hussars representative to win at the weight in four attempts against Puerto Rico’s 1-0 Clayton Laurent Jr.
