The president of the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA), Ganesh Thapa, has informed the investigatory chamber of the FIFA Ethics Committee that he has agreed not to participate in any football-related activity at national and international level (administrative, sports or any other) for an additional period of 90 days as of 20 March 2015, while the FIFA Ethics Committee completes its review of claims involving alleged misconduct by ANFA officials.
Ganesh Thapa had previously refrained from participating in any football-related activity at national and international level for a period of 120 days, which ended on 3 March 2015. He was allowed to participate in football-related activities between 4 and 19 March 2015.
No further statements will be made at this stage of the proceedings (cf. art. 36 of the FIFA Code of Ethics).
