The player’s Swedish and Sierra Leone agents Patrick Mork and Chernor Musa Jalloh both confirmed that there was a negotiation between Örebro with a club that wants to buy the striker.
“It is true that there is a concrete interest from a club, and it is now being negotiated between the club and the OSK,” Mork said.
The Freetown based agent, Chernor Musa Jalloh like Mork refused to identify the club but confirmed that negotiations did take place but refused to make further comments.
Meanwhile, one of Örebro officials Magnus Shield Mark was quoted by Swedish media Nerikes Allehanda denying both agent claims.
“We did not negotiate with Malaga on Crespo. It is true that there is interest from several clubs for the player, which is quite normal when he has qualities that you will not find in any other striker in the Nordic countries right now. But there are no negotiation going on, “said Magnus Shield Mark.
The Spanish Liga club Malaga has previously shown interest in signing Kamara but are yet to make any concrete bid. The striker was recently linked with a move to Hull City also in the English league.
‘Crespo’ Kamara joined Örebro from AIK, where he failed to hit the mark but has so far succeeded in Örebro and since last season despite joining the squad in the second half of the season due to an injury, the striker scored 14 goals in 19 games including a notable hat-trick on the final day of the season.
