MLS Cup Playoff scenarios – D.C. United has first opportunity to clinch playoff berth

United will have a chance to clinch its 12th career playoff berth this weekend if the club records a win against the Colorado Rapids on Saturday along with the below results. If that happens, D.C. United will become the first MLS club to clinch a 2015 playoff spot this season.
