The course started on April 7 and ran through April 11 at Flic & Flac Beach.
During the opening, President Mr. Teeroovengadum the Elder and General Secretary Mr. Teeroovengadum the Younger declared permanent beach volleyball courts for the public to be the No. 1 priority in the coming years.
They also said qualifying for the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro was a major target.
The course attracted strong media coverage and the participants were of a good level, with most having played indoor volleyball, which helped the exercises run smoothly.
