Coach Lamouchi did something during their first match against Japan which worked great for the Ivorians by subbing Didier Drogba in during the second half and at the same time played him alongside Wilfred Bony another striker position a the front (a two headed monster if you will) that gave the Japanese fits as they labored to contain them.
This is not the time for too much experimentation as there is no room for error at the FIFA World Cup so Coach Lamouchi should go back to what worked well in their first matchup against Japan and they will be guaranteed to walk away with a win against Greece and going forward into the next rounds. ‘You cannot fix what is not broken” Coach Lamouchi.
Ivory Coast plays Greece next a team that is no work over either and they should be very careful with them if they are to make it to the next round and that is also barring that fact that Colombia which is favored to win their match against Japan does not drop that and lose, in that case if Ivory Coast does win their match against Greece then the Japanese will sail through if they do beat Colombia. Colombia however is already in the round of 16 and they do not have much motivation to put their all in the next match against Japan as they will be looking to rest and save some of their key players for the next round.
