Kaizer Chiefs star George Lebese is set to appear in court on Monday to face assault charges brought against him by girlfriend Sizakele Manonga, but many are expecting her to drop the case.
According to Sunday Sun, sources say that it’s unlikely the soccer player will be punished for beating up Sizakele, who laid charges against Lebese in February after he allegedly assaulted her and damaged her car in Pretoria.
Insiders claim that Lebese and Sizakele have actually reconciled since the incident, and that she has forgiven him as he continues to shower her with gifts and affection, this on top of the fact that there’s reportedly been pressure from both his and her own friends to drop the charges.
