Kaizer Chiefs, the 2014/15 PSL, champions can take their prize money past R22 million this season if they hold on to top spot of the Q4 log, according to a report on Sport 24.
The Amakhosi have already netted R20.6 million this season after winning the MTN8 Cup and the league.
The Soweto giants need to win at least one of their upcoming games against Wits and Chippa United this Wednesday and Saturday respectively, to secure the Q4 title and R1.5 million prize money.
Kaizer Chiefs’ other prize money was earned by winning Q1 and through their participation in the Telkom Knockout and Nedbank Cup competitions.
