Matsatsantsa have already lifted one piece of silverware this term after seeing off Dikwena in the Telkom Knockout final in November, and face Ajax Cape Town in the semi-finals of the Nedbank Cup later this year.
However, Igesund is also trying to balance his side's top-eight ambitions in the Premier League, but is seemingly more interested in leading the Tshwane giants to more cup glory.
Speaking of his squad selection in the goalless draw against Platinum Stars in the league in midweek, Igesund told Kick Off: "We are chasing a cup double so team selection will obviously come into play when you are planning for all your matches.
SuperSport are next in Premiership action, against Moroka Swallows on Saturday, and when asked whether he will put out a team similar to the one that drew against Dinaledi, Igesund added: "We will have to see. We want to win against Swallows but we also have to plan for the Nedbank Cup. Ajax will be hard to beat so we have to be at our best."
