The GFA on Tuesday directed the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) to let the Sierra Leone government liaise with their government over their intention to play their 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying home matches in Ghana.
“A request from SLFA was received by the GFA with Sierra Leone asking permission to play some of their home matches in Accra because of the Ebola outbreak at home. Though keen on offering its support, the GFA are uncertain about the health implications for the country.
The GFA has asked the SLFA to let their two governments deal with the matter at the higher level.” the GFA stated on their website.
