CONCACAF has announced that four MLS stadiums will host matches for the 2015 CONCACAF Olympic Qualifying Championship, which will run from October 1-13. Selected as host venues were Sporting Kansas City’s Sporting Park, the LA Galaxy’s StubHub Center, the Colorado Rapids’ Dick’s Sporting Goods Park and Real Salt Lake’s Rio Tinto Stadium. The tournament will pit the U-23 national teams of the United States, Mexico, Canada and five other to-be-determined CONCACAF nations against each other. The eight countries will be split into two groups of four with the top two teams in each group advancing to the semifinals. The competition's two finalists will automatically qualify for the 2016 Olympics in Brazil, and the third-place finisher will take on Colombia in a playoff for an additional spot.
