The club has only managed four points from their first six games, including three losses.
Their most recent defeat at the hands of Whawha was met with derision and contempt by fans who immediately called for Mapeza to be sacked.
The situation reached a critical point after the 2-1 defeat when a paranoid Mapeza claimed someone was sabotaging his efforts from within the club.
However, club spokesperson Chido Chizondo has moved to quell the situation by announcing the manager has the full backing of the club.
"We are clear that a league is a marathon and anything can happen. Winning is key yes we are losing but it's a matter of time.
"We are playing very well. Luck has not been on our side. For now our coach is here and we have not pressed the panic button."
