Kelibia, Tunisia, January 24, 2015 - Egypt clinched a thrilling victory over hosts Tunisia 3-2 (25-22, 24-26, 19-25, 25-21, 15-11) to claim the 2015 Boys' U19 African Nations Championship held at Kelibia, Tunisia. Egypt, Tunisia and Algeria will represent Africa at the FIVB Volleyball Boys' U19 World Championship in Argentina from August 14-23.
Egypt's victory put the competition winners on 5 points, while Tunisia dropped to a win-loss ratio of 1-1 and 4 points to finish second. Algeria ended their campaign in third position with two defeats.
The competition's best setter Zyad Elsisy was instrumental in Egypt's 25-22 first set win. Tunisia won the second set 26-24, however, to draw the match at one set all and their powerful attacks also claimed the third set 25-19.
