The 14th “European Championship of Forestry Skills” will take place from May 20 to 24 in and around the forestry school of Luua, Estonia.
Students from different European countries (Belgium, Italy, Germany, Estonia, Finland, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Norway, Austria, Poland, Romania, Sweden, Serbia, Slovenia und Hungary) and different agriculture/forestry schools will show their forestry skills.
The competition consists of two parts. First part is demonstrating specific knowledge of working with a chainsaw and consists of five disciplines: Fitting a new chain, bucking by combined cut, precision bucking, undercut and felling cut, and limbing).
