It is the first time in two years that Defence has annexed the title as far as the Ethiopian version of the FA Cup is concerned, taking their tally to 13 overall, and confirming their status as the most successful club in the history of the annual competition.
Defence will thus represent Ethiopia in next year’s CAF Confederation Cup.
