As the 2014 FIFA World Cup enters the ultimate phases, several African nations are gearing up for the final Afcon elimination round to decide the last seven teams to enter the group stages of qualification for Morocco 2015.

Seychelles have announced plans to set up a training camp in Kampala from where they plan some training matches against the Uganda Cranes who are campaigning for their first Nations Cup place in over 31years.

Added to the Seychelles match, the Cranes are eyeing another warm-up game against Malawi, also in Kampala. The Uganda Cranes have been on a tour of various regions of Uganda playing regional matches and rallying their fans for support ahead of their fixtures against Equatorial Guinea.

Uganda Football Federation Technical director Asuman Lubowa stressed that the aim of the nationwide tours and planned international friendlies was to "get the Cranes strong and ready and have the nation support the team as they prepared for Equatorial Guinea".

Rwanda's Amavubi host Gabon as they fine tune for Congo Brazzaville.

According to Rwanda Football Federation, Ferwafa Secretary General Olivier Mulindahabi, the match should help head coach Briton Stephane Constantine prepare well for the Congolese.

Tanzania were in Gaborone on Tuesday 1 July where they went down 2-4 to the Zebras in a warm up match.

Final round fixtures:

Lesotho vs Kenya
Uganda vs Equatorial Guinea
Congo vs Rwanda
Botswana vs Guinea Bissau
Sierra Leone vs Seychelles
Benin vs Malawi
Tanzania vs Mozambique

The first leg matches of the final round of elimination matches will be played over the weekend of 18th through 20th July with return matches on August 1-3. Aggregate winners enter the final phase of qualifying and will occupy places across the seven groups. The group matches get underway on September 5 and 6.
