Correctional Services on Wednesday denied Oscar Pistorius and Radovan Krejcir are receiving special treatment in prison. This, after the Daily Sun posted a video of the pair playing soccer in a courtyard.
The publication reported a source at the Kgosi Mampuru II prison in Pretoria filmed the duo kicking around the ball outside.
The source added fellow inmates were angered at the “special treatment” the two were allegedly receiving.
But correctional Services spokesperson Ofentse Morwane rejected this claim, and said inmates are permitted an hour a day for exercise, eNCA reported.
Morwane said further allegations by inmates that they are not allowed to play games is “unfortunate and misleading to the public.”
