The French-born 27-year-old, currently playing for Trabzonspor in Turkey, was part of French coach Michel Dussuyer's 23-man squad for the 17 January to 8 February continental extravaganza in Equatorial Guinea.
Dussuyer also included uncapped France-based pair Bouna Sarr, the Metz midfielder, and Bastia forward Francois Kamano.
Guinea are in the Malabo-based Group D alongside Ivory Coast, Cameroon and Mali.
