Furthermore, the CAF Executive Committee ruled favourably on the request of the Tanzanian Football Association to host the 2019 African U-17 Championship, same for the request of Niger for the CAF U-20 Championship the same year.
The CAF Executive Committee also directed the Secretariat to open tenders for the organisation of the 2017 Africa Beach Soccer Championship, 2018 African Women Championship, 2020 African Nations Championship (CHAN) and the 2020 African Futsal championship. It was decided that the latter competition (Futsal) will take place every four years to respect the cycle of the World Cup category of which it serves as a qualifier.
The Committee gave a go ahead to the CAF Secretariat to implement CAF's competitions calendar for 2016 and 2017, subject to its approval.
In addition, during this CAF Executive Committee session, Messrs Suketu Patel (Seychelles) and Almamy Kabele Camara (Guinea) were reappointed by acclamation as the 1st and 2nd Vice Presidents of CAF respectively.
Finally, the Executive Committee proceeded with the nomination of the members for the permanent committees and judicial bodies of CAF for the 2015 - 2017 cycle. The list of these committees shall be published later.
