Cabic Promotions and Management will host a seminar on fighting drug abuse at the conference room of the SSNIT Sports Emporium, Bukom Boxing Arena on Friday at 10am.
The Theme: “Setting a National Agenda to FIGHT Drug Abuse and related vices” is to educate and inform the youth, students, boxers, sportsmen, officials, guests and patrons on the dangers of drug use.
Cabic Promotions and Management has successfully staged two major big fight nights and has so far helped in winning Ghana two WBO Africa titles in just six months.
They also signed and changed the life of Papa Row, a great music and entertainment talent who was nearly consumed by alcohol.“In our work so far we have observed that the youth across the country are actively engaged in drug abuse like Tramadol, cannabis or marijuana, madras and the ‘sniffing of glue’ among others which is of great concern to us at Cabic Promotions. We are therefore holding this grand durbar to educate the youth against drug abuse, there will be narration of real life experiences from reformed hard drug addicts” said CEO Ivan Bruce Cudjoe.
