The Sierra Leone Football Association’s (SLFA) tussle continue as stakeholders are now campaigning against the FIFA recognised president, Isha Johansen and her executive not to represent them in the upcoming 65th FIFA congress in Zurich.
Madam Johansen alongside two other Executive Committee members are expected to represent Sierra Leone in the May 28th -29th 2015 congress which will also see a new FIFA Presidential elected.
Alhaji Unisa Alim Sesay and the group that is against Johansen representing the Football Association (FA) in the FIFA congress’ campaign to stop her came just three days after the country’s President through his secretary called on FIFA to send a mediation team to the country to solve the football crisis in the country.

In his latest correspondence dated May 23rd and addressed to FIFA Secretary General, Sesay-who is the opposition member’s chairman, stated that Johansen can no longer legally represent the SLFA in any local and international forum.
“Johansen can no longer legally represent the SLFA in any local or international forum, including the forthcoming FIFA congress to be held in Zurich. She has brought the game into disrepute for manipulating delegate ad deprives us of their constitutional right which is enshrining in Article 24 of the SLFA constitution,” Sesay stated.
