The player ran onto the field at the end of the game to physically assault the referee and was joined by reserve goalie Abdelrehim Mahmoud (number 21) and Hazem Mohamed Emam (number 7), who have each been handed one-match bans.
The Board at its sitting on Thursday, 17 July 2014 at the CAF Secretariat in Cairo, Egypt, considered Article 82 (Principles of Conduct), Article 83 (Responsibility) and Article 113(Threats) of the CAF Disciplinary Code in arriving at the decision.

-suspend the player no. 3 Dominique Da Silva for his next three (3) CAF Interclubs matches namely Zamalek/TP Mazembe, Zamalek/AS Vita and Al Hilal/Zamalek. The Board also decided to impose upon him a financial sanction of 5,000 US Dollars.
-suspend the player Abdel Rehim Mahmoud for one (1) match namely Zamalek/TP Mazembe. The Board also decided to impose upon him a financial sanction of 3,000 US Dollars.
-suspend the player no. 7 Hazem Mohamed Emam for one match. Seeing that he is already automatically suspended for the Zamalek/TP Mazembe game for receiving two cautions in two different games, he is therefore suspended for the Zamalek/AS Vita game. The Board also decided to impose upon him a financial sanction of 3,000 US Dollars.
