MIES, Switzerland - The World Association of Basketball Coaches (WABC) and the NBA Coaches Association (NBCA) are proud to announce a partnership to further develop the international basketball coaching community.
The focus of the partnership between the NBCA and the WABC will be connecting their respective membership bases in order to promote global idea-sharing and best practices in the profession of basketball coaching.

As part of this initiative, the WABC will also streamline the process for NBCA Members to register for a license with the International Basketball Federation (FIBA), which will faciliate coaching opportunities for NBCA Members in International Basketball. In addition the relationship will vet and verify legitimate international coaching employment and will also create and enhance opportunities for current and alumni NBA coaches to coach internationally.
"The NBCA represents basketball coaches at the highest level in America, and the WABC represents the basketball coaching profession on a global scale," said NBCA Executive Director Michael Goldberg. "We are proud to partner with the WABC to expand NBA coaches’ global reach and help grow the game internationally."
