After a much anticipated showdown at the birds nest Stadium in Beijing China where Bolts rose to international stardom between him and USA’s Justin Gatlin it came down to simply 9.79 second to decide that contention, that Usain Bolt has been and is still king of the 100 meters.
The race reminiscent of the rivalry between Ben Johnson and Carl Lewis at the 1987 World Championships was full of tension and anticipation as a well as a cloud of doubt over one of the runners and so this was good versus evil, Clean athletes versus dirty ones and as most people wanted the clean athlete to win and so the good guy Usain Bolt won, beating Justin Gatlin and settling the argument as to who is the better man in 2015.

Usain Bolt as proclaimed by many pundits has rescued the sport of Track & Field and with a new era under the leadership of Lord Sebastian Coe of Great Britain about to start it simply augurs well for the sport.
