Held at The O2 and in partnership with the RFU, Wear the Rose Live was a unique celebration of both England and rugby. Fans from across the country had a once in a lifetime opportunity to wave off the England team in style and show how the power of support can give the squad a huge boost before they take on the best of world rugby.
The event culminated with the England Rugby squad joining Take That on stage to fully experience the power of support from fans.
Take That said: “It’s been great performing at Wear The Rose Live and to have been part of the player's official send-off. We're looking forward to watching the games and wish the guys the very best of luck!”
England Rugby captain Chris Robshaw said: “On behalf of the squad I want to thank the thousands of fans who came out to The O2 for Wear the Rose Live and showed their support for the team. The event was unlike anything we have experienced before and we really feel honoured to have been part of it. O2 have put together something special to galvanise support for the team. We have been training hard over the summer and want to do the country proud. Knowing that the nation is behind us gives us that extra boost.”
