South Africa’s Banyana Banyana which has drawn both games will have to wait till the outcome of the group’s ultimate clash between Cameroon and Ghana on Sunday in Kintele to learn their fate.
The South Africans have two points whilst Ghana’s Black Queens and ‘Les Lionnes’ of Cameroon, have a point each from one match each.
The Cameroon – Ghana clash will serve a repeat of the final meeting at the 2011 edition of the multisport event which ‘Les Lionnes’ triumphed by a lone goal.
The group was reduced to three teams following the withdrawal of Egypt few days to the opening ceremony.
Meanwhile, Nigeria and Cote d’Ivoire have qualified for the semis from Group A.
