Sissoko, who joined the Toon from Toulouse in 2013, scored in the Magpies' 2-0 win over West Ham on the final day of the season as the club secured their top-flight status in dramatic fashion.
Newcastle's stuttering form over the past campaign saw Sissoko linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain in January, but the 25-year-old has revealed he has no intention of departing St James' Park just yet and wants to see the squad strengthend in the tranfser window.
"Yes I want to stay at Newcastle," the France international told French television programme L’Équipe du Soir.
"I think I am capable of playing for PSG, whether I want to or not I don’t know.
"I don’t want to leave the Premier League. It is the one that suits me the best. Last transfer window, I learnt like you did on TV that PSG were interested in me. But nobody came to see me. Not me, nor my agent.”
