Three Sierra Leonean strikers; Kei Kamara, Shaka Bangura and Mohamed ‘Poborsky’ Bangura were all on target over the weekend in their respective leagues in the USA and Europe.
In the US MLS, striker Kei Kamara continue his lead at the top of the chart as he scored his 15th goal of the season when his Columbus Crew side were forced to a 3-3 tie by Toronto FC on Saturday.
In the North American Soccer League (NASL), Shaka Bangura who was a late substitute sealed Atlanta Silverbacks 3-1 win over FC Edmonton with his 88th minute strike.
While In Europe, Mohamed Poborsky Bangura registered his seventh goal of the season in an all out competition as he helped AIK defeat Elfsborg 4-2. In the Swedish second division, Mohamed Kabia played full time for FC Linkoping in a 2-1 win over Assyriska IF Norrköping whilst defender Mohamed Bangura also featured full time for Härnösands FF as they suffered a 1-2 loss to Anundsjö If.
Elsewhere, Hassan Sesay played full time for Lahti in their 2 – 0 win over Inter Turku but his countryman, Ibrahim Koroma was left out of the Lyngby sqayd which won 1-0 win over HB Køge.
