Sierra Leone national team, Leone Stars duo, Mustapha Dumbuya and Alhaji Kamara were both on target over the weekend in the Scottish and Swedish topflight league respectively.

Right-back, Mustapha Dumbuya scored his first goal for Patrick Thistle since joining them on a free transfer this summer as they defeated Dundee United 3-0.

Dumbuya’s goal came in the 55th minutes to double the score-line for the Thistle to 2-0 before Stuart Bannigan rounded the score to 3-0 helping Thistle to move off the bottom of the Scottish Premiership table.

Another Sierra Leonean who got his name on the score-sheet was IFK Norrköping striker, Alhaji Kamara who came off the bench to seal a 3-1 win over Häcken in the Swedish Allsvenskan league.

Still with the Allsvenskan league, striker Mohamed Poborsky Bangura played full time for AIK as they defeated Malmö FF 2-1 at the Friends Arena (Solna).

In the Swedish Superettan league, striker, Ibrahim Teteh Bangura saw 64 minutes of action as his side Mjällby AIF moved another step upwards from the relegation zone following their 2-1 home win over Varberg.

In the Swedish first division, IFK Luleå Ibrahim Kallay was substituted in the 41st minute in their 1-1 draw with Västerås SK whilst his country man returned to Nyköping first team against Dalkurd but his presence did not stop them from suffering their third straight defeat as they lost 1-0.

In Azerbaijan, left-back Sheriff Suma and Samuel Barlay both enjoyed full time action in their side Rəvan 1-0 away defeat to Azal and in Cyprus topflight league, striker Mustapha Haji Bangura was left-out of Aris squad which suffered 2-1 defeat to Doxa.

Central defender, Gibril Sankoh was at the heart of Roda JC defence who were forced to a 1-1 draw by bottom place Cambuur in the Holland Eredivisie.

In Finland, Hassan Sesay returned to Lathi first team in their 3-1 home win over Inter Turku but was replaced in the 71 minutes by Petri Pasanen.

Away from Finland, striker Sullay KaiKai saw full time action for Shrewsbury Town but could not help them escape a 3-0 Coventry City loss in the English League One
