The Sierra Leone Scrabble Association (SLSA) has officially been recognized by the country’s National Sports Council.
In a letter addressed to the SLSA executive, the assistant director of sports Mrs. Pamela Williams stated that the association has been accepted in the NSC as one of the associations to be recognized.
The letter also stated: “ I wish to write on behalf of the Acting Director of Sports with the approval of the Minister of Sports inviting your association for an official welcome on Friday 31 July at 2 P.M in the Ministry of Sports main building.”
