We deserved to win and I want to thank my players. We didn’t play well in the first half but everything changed after the break. In the second half, we remained focused and created chances. I believe we were the better side and it’s fair that we won at the end. My players never lost faith and they played to the last minute and they deserved the result. I’m very happy with everyone. We didn’t create chances as I planned. We studied Zamalek well and adopted the counter attacks. I expected Zamalek to attack and wanted to make use of that, but things never went as planned. Zamalek was the better side; they played very well and created chances. Their player no. 14 (Ayman Hefny) was awesome.
