
Barred from hosting matches because of scares over the Ebola virus, the Leone Stars will engage Chad on October 13th for the return leg encounter of their 2018 World Cup preliminary round qualifier at the Port Harcourt Stadium.
This will be the second time that the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) which has been forced to play the country’s home matches in a neutral venue will use the Nigerian city of Port Harcourt as their home venue.
Last month goalless draw with the African champions, Ivory Coast in their 2017 African Nations Cup qualifier was also hosted at the Port Harcourt Stadium.
Since August 2014, Sierra Leone has been serving an international ban from hosting football matches in Freetown.
