The State’s appeal against former Paralympian Oscar Pistorius’s culpable homicide conviction for the death of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp, has been set for November.
The State and Pistorius’s defence teams are expected to file their heads of argument by 17 September.
According to eNCA, five judges will hear the appeal.
On Valentine’s Day 2013, Pistorius shot four times through his bathroom door, killing Steenkamp. He pleaded not-guilty to murder, claiming he only wanted to protect Steenkamp from what he believed was an intruder in his home.

He was sentenced to five years in Kgosi Mampuru II Prison in Pretoria.
