CAF Executive Committee member, Kwesi Nyantakyi has been re-elected for a third four-year term at the helm of the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
Having been in office since 2006, he was retained unopposed at the Association’s Extraordinary Congress held on Tuesday, 18 August 2015 in the northern city of Tamale.
Nyantakyi, 46 and a lawyer by profession, has spearheaded a to a huge transformation of Ghana football under his stewardship including three successive World Cup qualifications by the Black Stars, reaching the second round in 2006 and the quarter finals four years later.

Following his re-election, he has emphasized his willingness to engage marketers to sell Ghana football to the outside world especially the domestic league amongst many projects.
