YAOUNDE (AfroBasket Women 2015) - Nigeria closed their AfroBasket Women 2015 Group Phase campaign with four consecutive wins, setting up a Quarter-Final with Gabon.

The Western Africans held on to a comprehensive 79-49 win over Algeria, who sought their first win in the tournament.

Three Nigerians scored 10 points or more, while Algeria's Sarah Nemmouchi finished with a team-high 13 points.

Algeria are yet to win a game, and will resume their campaign competing in the 9th to 12h classification round.

Nigeria conclude the preliminary second in Group B behind Angola who trounced Guinea 89-47.

The Angolans improved their mark to 4-1.

Less than 24 hours after losing to rivals Nigeria, Senegal outplayed Egypt from start to finish, leading by as many as 29 points to seal a 84-72 win over Egypt.

In the first game of Group A Mali edged out Uganda 73-55 to finish second in the group, setting up a much-awaited Quarter-Finals meeting against Senegal.

Mali, who played without influential Meiya Tirera due to a sore knee, never trailed, having led by as many as 22 points.
Kankou Coulibaly sparked Mali with 19 points, while Flavia Oketcho finished a team-high 16 points in the losing cause.

Hosts Cameroon, the only undefeated team in the tournament, saw off South Africa 78-51 in front of a rowdy crowd who celebrate every right move their heroes made.

Ramses Lonlack propelled Cameroon with a team-high 18 points, while Elle Moutlatse led South Africa with 13points.
With the win, Alain Zedong's team advance to the Quarter-Finals where they will take on Egypt.

In the battle for the third spot in Group A, Mozambique proved too strong for Gabon, cruising to a 79-49 victory in the last game of the Group Phase, for their third win in five games. It means the Mozambicans will face Nigeria in Thursday's Quarter-Finals.

Deolinda Ngulela ignited Mozambique's offense with 13 points and 4 assists.

Thursday's Quarter-Finals (all times locals; GMT +1):
