The Namibian Sports Awards turned the spotlight on volleyball
Windhoek, Namibia, November 3, 2015 - The Namibian Volleyball Federation was shortlisted in development programme and administration awards categories at this year's Namibian Sports Awards ceremony on October 23 and facing competition from rugby, football, hockey and 2014 winners tennis, the Namibian Volleyball Development Programme and its posterchild the African Dream Project received a N$100000 prize from the jury.

Namibian Volleyball Federation Secretary Gunter Rust was also the recipient of an accolade in the administration category for work on a number of projects including the decentralisation of volleyball administration across five regional associations, the realignement and expansion of the Bank Windhoek NVF Cup and setting up working relations with Volleyball England that lead to tangible benefits for both federations.
