The CAF President reaffirmed CAF’s commitment to provide all necessary assistance and support to the player, and also expressed gratitude to the higher authorities of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
The latter, through the Ministry of Sports and the Egyptian Football Association have spared no effort with support and ensured the best form of medical assistance for the player.
Earlier on Monday, a day after the incident and few hours after the player had undergone surgery, CAF Medical Manager, Dr Boubakary Sidiki visited AFSH for the medical record and exchange information with his colleagues attending to the player.
