The FIFA Emergency Committee has decided today, 30 October 2015, in consultation with the AFC, to extend the mandate of the normalisation committee of the Football Association of Maldives (FAM) until 31 December 2015, so as to enable FAM to complete the registration process of its statutes with the authorities and organise the elective congress, which had originally been scheduled for 22 October and had to be postponed.
Additionally, it has been decided to replace Mr Mohamed Hussain with Mr Ahmed Shakyb, who will also take over the vice-chairmanship of the committee.
